Teresa Hanson is a native Californian whose artistic vision is a direct result of her varied life experiences.  Well traveled, she’s been able to reflect on her time in Africa, Europe, the Caribbean and South Pacific for inspiration.  Always open for new adventure and educational opportunities, as a young woman she learned to fly, bought her own plane, and became an accomplished skier while living in Mammoth Lakes, CA. Teresa’s family has played a powerful and supportive role that has encouraged her artistic growth.  Creativity runs in the family, as both her daughters are talented musically and artistically.  Her partner, Muni, is her inspirational foundation and assists with the practical aspects of promoting and marketing her work.

A graduate of Morehead State University, she's an entrepreneur who has started and managed several businesses. Something was missing until she finally decided to follow her heart and pursue becoming a working artist.  Following that dream, Teresa is creating works in several different media while pursuing ongoing fine art academic endeavors.  Her pieces have been shown in several prestigious group and solo exhibitions in the Northern California area.
